Deferred Plan
$4,500total cost
Monthly Plan – $4,000 Total Cost
$99.00 to start and a $99 monthly fee. This option provides a $500 discount from the Deferred Plan. Once hired you will begin paying monthly, interest-free payments on your remaining balance. The monthly payment plan also includes access to test prep 240 Tutoring, and the Teaching Channel ($600 Value) This option will result in lower monthly payments no greater than $400 per month once hired.
Deferred Plan – $4,500 Total Cost
$250.00 to start. The Program Fee ($4,250) is deferred until hired. Once hired, you will begin paying the Program Fee through monthly, interest-free payments. This option will result in the highest monthly payments at approximately $425 per month once hired.

Some states have fees that will be incurred that are outside of the fees paid to iteach.

Some fees are paid directly to other companies or state agencies. These fees are not included in the total cost of iteachTEXAS.

Exam Fees
Examination fees are payable to Education Testing Service. You must pass at least two certification test (content area and Principal of Learning and Teaching) prior to being recommended to the state for Level 1 teaching certificate.
Praxis (cost per exam): $134.00
Teacher Certification Fees
Certification fees are payable to the Louisiana Department of Education.
PL2 Application Fee: $50.00
Level 1 Professional Certificate Application Fee: $50.00
